Community Guidelines
Peptide Authority is the UK's leading evidence-based peptide research community. These guidelines cover how to post well — evidence sourcing, tone, formatting, and the spirit of constructive discussion.
Two sibling policies sit alongside this page:
- Community Safety Policy — what content harms other users and is removed on sight (personal dosing advice, supplier endorsements, counterfeit-pen trade, content involving minors, etc.).
- UGC Moderation Policy — how reports are handled, decision types, account actions, the appeal process, and retention.
Evidence-Based Discussion
- •Reference published research, clinical trials, or reputable sources when making claims
- •Distinguish between personal experience ('anecdotal') and established science
- •Link to PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, or peer-reviewed journals where possible
- •It's OK to discuss preliminary or animal research — just be clear about limitations
Be Respectful & Helpful
- •Treat every member with respect, regardless of their experience level
- •Welcome newcomers — we were all beginners once
- •Disagree constructively — challenge ideas, not people
- •No personal attacks, insults, or harassment under any circumstances
Safety First
- •Never provide specific medical advice — we're a research discussion community, not doctors
- •Always include safety disclaimers when discussing protocols
- •Report any content that could lead to harm
- •Discuss side effects and risks openly — don't minimise them
UK Regulatory Awareness
- •Respect UK law — peptides have varying legal statuses and this must be acknowledged
- •Don't encourage purchasing or importing substances illegally
- •Discuss MHRA, NICE, and NHS context where relevant
- •Note that most peptides discussed are for research purposes only
What's Not Allowed
- •Spam, self-promotion, or affiliate links without disclosure
- •Selling, buying, or trading peptides or controlled substances
- •Dangerous misinformation about dosages, interactions, or safety
- •Sharing personal information of others without consent
- •Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or manipulate votes
Quality Standards
- •Post in the appropriate category — check before creating a new thread
- •Use descriptive thread titles: 'BPC-157 12-week shoulder recovery log' not 'question pls help'
- •Search before posting — your question may already have a great discussion
- •Stay on topic — if you want to discuss something different, start a new thread
Moderation
Our moderation team reviews reports and ensures guidelines are followed. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. If you see content that breaks these guidelines, please use the "Report" button.
