Affiliate disclosure
How Peptide Authority handles affiliate links — the single disclosed retail relationship (Peptide Barn), where affiliate CTAs do and do not appear, and the full list of affiliate-free pages.
Last reviewed:
The one affiliate relationship we have
Peptide Authority has a single disclosed commercial affiliate relationship: a referral arrangement with Peptide Barn, a research peptide retailer. When a reader clicks an affiliate link from a Peptide Authority page and subsequently purchases from Peptide Barn, we may receive a referral fee.
This is the only retail affiliate relationship on the site. We have no affiliate relationship with Amazon, CJ Affiliate, Awin, Impact, ShareASale, or any other affiliate network. We do not run programmatic display advertising. We do not accept paid placement.
Where affiliate placements appear
Affiliate placements (the components SupplierInlineCTA, SupplierSlideIn, and ExitIntentPopup) are rendered on peptide profile pages, blog posts, and certain research guide pages.
Where affiliate placements never appear
The following page categories are completely affiliate-free:
- Every page under
/safety-centre/ - Every page under
/legal/ - Every page under
/faq/ - Every page under
/policies/ - Every page under
/stacks/claim-reviews/ - /editorial-standards, /corrections-policy, /conflict-of-interest-policy, /we-are-not-a-peptide-retailer, /evidence-grading-methodology, /uk-regulatory-methodology, /medical-disclaimer, /about
- The entire GLP-1 Centre (/glp-1-centre/*) — GLP-1 medicines are UK prescription-only; no retail affiliate is appropriate
This carve-out is enforced at the component level, not at the editorial level. The affiliate components do a path check and refuse to render on excluded paths.
How the affiliate position influences (and does not influence) content
We will not adjust regulatory or safety framing because of a commercial relationship. Specifically:
- We do not soften unlicensed-compound warnings on peptides Peptide Barn sells.
- We do not promote any peptide because Peptide Barn stocks it. The published evidence grade is the same grade we would publish if no retailer existed.
- We do not recommend specific products by SKU, batch, or formulation.
- We do not publish dosing, reconstitution, or injection guidance — regardless of where the compound is bought from. See no dosing, no sourcing.
Disclosure on individual placements
Every affiliate placement is labelled. Hover and link text make the commercial relationship clear. We use rel="sponsored nofollow" on affiliate links per CAP code and ASA guidance on affiliate disclosure.
UK regulatory framing
Affiliate placements are advertising for the linked retailer. UK advertising rules apply — the UK peptide advertising regime page covers the relevant CAP code, ASA, and HMR 2012 Part 12 framework. Our affiliate marketing risk page explains how the disclosure and lawful-supply tests apply to the kind of affiliate placement that we ourselves run.
If the disclosure is not clear enough
