What is WADA's S0 category?

S0 covers any pharmacological substance that is not addressed elsewhere on the Prohibited List and has no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use. In practice it sweeps up most 'research peptides'.

What is strict liability?

An athlete is responsible for any prohibited substance in their sample. Intent does not matter. Contamination, mislabelling, or unknown ingredients are not generally a defence. This is why grey-market peptides are uniquely risky for athletes.
